What is the cost/tariff to tour Bhutan?
Our government has fixed the tourist tariff depending upon the seasons as HIGH SEASONS which includes the months of September to June, and LOW SEASON which is made up of Jule and August.

High season:
Cultural/Trekking – US$ 200/- per day per person

Low Season:
Cultural/ Trekking – US$ 165/- per day per person

Surcharge:
Single Individual – US$ 40/- Per night per person.
Group of two      - US$ 30/- Per night per person.

Any Discount available?
a. DIPLOMATS from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan shall be given a 25% discount on the daily rates.
b. There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years. However, those between the age of 6 to 12 years accompanied by elders/guardians shall be given a 40% discount on daily rates.
c. Full time Students below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.
d. A discount of 50% on daily rates shall be given to one person in a group of 11 to 15 persons. A 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.
 

What are included in the tour tariff?
The tour tariff would cover your expenditure for accommodation on a twin sharing basis, all meals, land transport within Bhutan, sightseeing tour guide and museum fees. Pack and riding pony if trekking.

How can I make my payment for a tour?
All the tour payments must be made in advance.Tour payment must be settled by one month prior to date of arrival in Bhutan and VISA is cleared by the government subject to advance payment only.

Services are confirmed subject to advance payment only.
For high seasons (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec) it is advisable to remit payment for Druk Air flights 3 months advance. This will help us in getting you seats confirmed.

What if I cancel my trip to Bhutan after I have made the payment?
The tour programmes booked and subsequently cancelled are subjected to cancellation charges as follows:
Within 21 days    10% of the rate
    “      14 days     15% of the rate
    “       7 days      30% of the rate
Less than 7 days   50% of the rate
After arrival in Bhutan 100%
